We are looking for someone to:
  • Gain broad exposure to the WoodmenLife organization by meeting weekly with the Internship Cohort, collectively with Executive Leadership, and one-on-one with leaders at the division level.

  • Summarize and present capstone presentation of the internship experience including project accomplishments, skill development, and key learnings.

  • Serve as a key member of the Agile intern team through the Developer role.

  • Collaborate with development teams to build and maintain software solutions using Microsoft technologies, with a focus on Azure services and toolsets.

  • Gain hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including managing pipelines and work items to support continuous integration and delivery workflows.

  • Apply strategic thinking and an innovative mindset to contribute to the design and development of scalable, efficient, and maintainable software systems.

  • Write code, debug, and test applications using development languages such as Java, C#, .NET, and Python.

  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to deliver high-quality software in a collaborative environment.

  • Learn and apply best practices in software engineering, including version control, documentation, and code reviews

We Need Someone Who Has:
  • Sophomore, Junior or Senior in college with area of study in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics or related fields

  • Must have a 3.5 or higher GPA

  • Ability to work 38.75 hours per week

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively while working collaboratively.

  • Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • The ability to provide seamless, trustworthy, attentive and resourceful (S.T.A.R.) customer service.

  • Passion for making an impact in local communities

  • Communicated Effectively: Clearly and promptly shares information with others, actively listens for understanding, and delivers concise verbal and written communication to internal and external stakeholders.
