Job Summary:
LangChain is a company focused on making intelligent agents ubiquitous by providing a foundation for agent engineering. They are seeking a core maintainer for the LangChain Python package, responsible for maintaining and improving its core abstractions, documentation, and user support.
Responsibilities:
• Improving the core abstractions and runtime of the `langchain` and `langgraph` packages
• Improving documentation across the LangChain ecosystem
• Answering user questions and resolving issues from the community
• Use LangChain to build example applications that demonstrate how to build production AI systems
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of software engineering or applied machine learning experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• The ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment and view unstructured environments as an opportunity to identify impactful work and define the future success of the company
