Job description

Position: Python Technical Lead

Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)

Duration: 8+ months

Exp Level: 14+ years

We are seeking a hands‑on Engineering Lead / Tech Lead to design, develop, and scale enterprise applications and intelligent automation solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong backend engineering expertise in Python and/or Node.js, experience building APIs and integrations, and the ability to lead development efforts while maintaining high engineering standards.

Responsibilities
  • Design and build backend services, automation workflows, APIs, integrations, and reusable components using Python and/or Node.js.
  • Leverage AI‑assisted coding tools such as Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms to accelerate development while maintaining high engineering standards.
  • Review, validate, debug, refactor, and optimize AI‑generated code for correctness, security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot issues across application logic, APIs, Apigee, databases, integrations, deployment pipelines, and enterprise environments.
  • Adhere to established project structures, coding standards, documentation practices, DevOps processes, and enterprise engineering guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with technical leads, architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Support rapid experimentation and prototyping while ensuring solutions can mature into production‑ready systems.
  • Assist with testing, integration, deployment support, issue resolution, and post‑implementation improvements.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Python and/or Node.js development.
  • Experience building REST APIs, backend services, and enterprise integrations.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
  • Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AI/ML applications, LLMs, and prompt engineering concepts.
  • Familiarity with API management platforms like Apigee.
  • Experience mentoring developers or leading engineering teams.
