Role Overview
This role involves participation in the design, development, and implementation of complex application program solutions, which may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies, and tools. The position requires working under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants. The candidate may collaborate with external programmers to coordinate the delivery of software applications.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and support enterprise Generative AI applications spanning web, API, backend, data, and database layers.
  • Develop AI-powered capabilities using Python and modern AI/ML libraries while integrating with Large Language Models (LLMs) and external AI services.
  • Create effective prompts, AI workflows, and model integrations to deliver accurate, scalable, and business-focused GenAI solutions.
  • Build and maintain web applications using Angular or React, along with backend services using Node.js and Express.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs following HTTP standards, security best practices, and scalable architecture patterns.
  • Develop and optimize SQL and PL/SQL database components, queries, and stored procedures.
  • Design, implement, and support ETL processes and data integration pipelines to enable analytics and AI-driven capabilities.
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth2 and related security protocols.
  • Utilize Redis and other performance optimization techniques to improve application scalability and responsiveness.
  • Participate in CI/CD automation, containerized deployments, and cloud-native application delivery processes while applying best practices for logging, monitoring, and security.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
  • 6-8 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong experience with Python development, including core programming, package management, and web frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
  • Hands-on experience building and integrating Generative AI solutions, including prompt engineering, AI libraries, model APIs, and LLM-based applications.
  • Experience developing web applications using Angular or React and backend services using Node.js and Express.
  • Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills, including database design, query tuning, stored procedures, data modeling, and performance optimization.
  • Experience implementing OAuth2 authentication and authorization mechanisms and application security best practices.
  • Experience with Redis caching, performance tuning, logging, monitoring, and application observability practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar technologies.

Technical Skills:
  • Good understanding of LLMs, Generative AI, machine learning concepts, transformers, neural networks, and AI application design principles.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, web services, and secure application communication.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML ecosystems and development tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, VS Code, PyCharm, Jupyter, Hugging Face, npm, PyPI, Maven, and NuGet.
  • Knowledge of containerized and cloud-native application deployment using OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency with Node.js, Python, and SQL.
