Job description

Title: Junior Cladding Supervisor

Location: Greater Toronto Area

Company: Triumph Group of Companies

Role Overview

Junior Cladding Supervisor supports field operations and project coordination on exterior cladding projects, working alongside Project Managers, Estimators, and field crews from project start-up through completion. You will coordinate site logistics, monitor quality and safety on active jobs, and act as the day to day point of contact between crews, general contractors, and consultants. Good work in this role looks like projects that stay on schedule, pass inspection the first time, and keep everyone informed along the way.

What We Offer

  • Salary: $70,000 to $85,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision
  • Vehicle allowance or company vehicle for site travel
  • Stable, year-round employment with a growing organization
  • Exposure to a wide range of commercial cladding and building envelope projects
  • Mentorship and a clear growth path toward a senior supervisory role
  • Supportive team culture where field experience is valued
  • Opportunity to work across multiple divisions within Triumph Group of Companies

What You Bring to the Table

Technical Skills

  • 2-3 years of experience in exterior cladding
  • Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
  • Working knowledge of building codes and construction contract documents, including RFIs, change orders, and submittals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, scheduling, and documentation
  • 4-year degree in Architectural Technology, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar (an asset, not required)

Attributes

  • You build trust quickly with general contractors, consultants, and crews by communicating clearly and following through
  • You stay organized across multiple job sites and can shift priorities without losing track of details
  • You take ownership of problems on site and bring solutions to the Project Manager rather than just flagging issues
  • You have a sharp eye for quality and safety, and you do not let details slip under schedule pressure
  • You are eager to learn from experienced supervisors and grow into greater field responsibility

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review project scope, drawings, and details with Project Managers and Estimators before project start
  • Coordinate site start dates, logistics, and scheduling with general contractors and owners
  • Ensure crews, subcontractors, materials, and equipment are ready before, during, and after each project
  • Manage RFIs, change orders, and contract documents to keep projects aligned with specifications and building codes
  • Perform daily and weekly site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
  • Conduct quality inspections and roof measurements, documenting and following up on deficiencies
  • Act as the primary point of contact between field crews, general contractors, consultants, and Project Managers
  • Lead weekly Toolbox Talks and safety reporting through Salus, and confirm crew safety training is current
  • Investigate existing buildings and report findings to support the service department and identify new work
  • Support contract setup, budgets, and cost tracking across multiple concurrent projects
