Hybrid Working Model: 3 days in office, remainder remote.

About the Role

The Senior Platform Engineer will partner with cloud‑native application development teams to deliver high‑velocity, reliable software and create reusable components and workflows that enhance developer experience.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Function as subject matter expert in delivering, operating, and maintaining reliable, performant, robust, and secure applications.
  • Work with development teams to design, document, create, and maintain highly‑available systems.
  • Design, implement, and manage centralized monitoring solutions that provide actionable feedback.
  • Partner with teams to create flows, processes, automation, and tooling.
  • Create an environment of continuous experimentation and learning.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our cloud‑focused architecture to increase flexibility and ease of use.
  • Follow technology trends and recommend improvements when appropriate.
  • Mentor junior or less senior team members.
  • Share experience, knowledge, and ideas to improve processes and productivity.
  • Provide tier 2 and 3 escalations for related issues and questions.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related area of study.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on Platform Engineering (DevOps, SysOps, SRE) experience with a proven track record of people and thought leadership.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience with cloud‑native solution architectures and related platform support (Cyber Security, Infrastructure as Code, Observability).
  • Ability to dive deep and get hands‑on to contribute to platform engineering solutions.
  • Expertise in automation strategies for cloud‑native solutions (pipelines, IaC, test suites).
  • Proven experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
  • Experience implementing IaC – Terraform preferred.
  • Experience using GitHub and engineering YAML‑based CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience implementing and operating container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Developer enablement mindset with an ability to collaborate across technology teams.
  • Experience with Vulnerability Management tooling (SAST and SCA scanning) integrated with SDLC toolchain.
  • Experience using Gen AI tooling for software development and testing productivity.
  • Expertise scripting with Python, Bash, PowerShell.
Salary

Salary range for the position: $78,000 - $185,000 per year. The successful candidate may be eligible for annual incentive compensation.
