Job description

Now Hiring: Die Cutter Pressman Lead
Location: Sheboygan, WI
Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
Pay: $27.25 – $28.75/hour (based on experience) plus shift premium

What You’ll Do

As a Die Cutter Pressman Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality production and smooth workflow across departments.

  • Lead the setup and operation of die cutting presses
  • Review factory tickets and ensure job specifications are followed precisely
  • Inspect sheet alignment, cuts, and creases for accuracy and quality
  • Install dies and run test sheets prior to production
  • Perform ongoing quality checks throughout production runs
  • Troubleshoot issues and communicate with supervisors when discrepancies arise
  • Collaborate with the Printing Department to ensure layouts align with die specifications
  • Approve jobs prior to print production when needed
  • Complete all production paperwork accurately and on time
  • Mentor and guide feeder operators, assigning tasks and supporting development
  • Communicate with pre-make-ready teams to prevent setup issues
  • Maintain strong teamwork across departments to keep production running smoothly
  • Operate Power Industrial Vehicles (PIV) safely as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Die Cutter Pressman Lead
  • Strong knowledge of die cutting processes and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production instructions
  • Solid math skills (fractions, decimals, measurements)
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
