Job description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Finance Consultant to join our Managed Services Team and play a key role in leading, supporting and transforming our client's global financial applications landscape. This role requires close collaboration with Finance, Accounting, IT, Operations, and external partners to deliver scalable Oracle Financial solutions that drive business value.

The ideal candidate is a strong team player with deep Oracle Financials expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships across organizations. This individual will partner with stakeholders globally to understand business needs, lead solution design discussions, support critical financial operations, and drive continuous process improvements as well as lead the offshore team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Accounting, IT, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective Oracle Financial solutions.

  • Act as a trusted advisor and liaison between business users, technical teams, and offshore support resources.

  • Lead requirement workshops, solution design sessions, and testing activities while ensuring alignment with business objectives and Oracle best practices.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support and enhance Oracle EBS and Fusion Cloud Financial applications.

  • Work closely with global Finance teams to support month-end close, reconciliations, compliance requirements, and operational excellence initiatives.

  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Projects, Contracts, Treasury, and Banking teams to support integrated business processes.

  • Collaborate with development and integration teams to implement enhancements, resolve issues, and deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, change management, and go-live activities to ensure successful adoption.

  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment.

  • Drive process improvements and standardization initiatives across global Finance operations.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Oracle Financials consulting experience, including Oracle EBS R12 and Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance.
  • Strong functional expertise in GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Intercompany, and Project Costing.
  • Strong accounting and finance background with knowledge of GAAP/IFRS principles.
  • Proven experience partnering with business leaders and translating complex requirements into practical solutions.
  • Experience working with global teams and coordinating offshore delivery resources.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to influence across teams and drive consensus in a collaborative environment.
  • Oracle Cloud or Oracle EBS certifications are preferred.
