Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in Oracle database administration, Exadata, Data Guard, GoldenGate, database migrations, and performance tuning. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing enterprise Oracle environments, supporting mission critical applications, optimizing database performance, and leading complex database migration and high availability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Manage day to day Oracle database administration and operations.
โ€ข Maintain database schemas, security standards, and database environments.
โ€ข Support development, testing, production releases, and application teams.
โ€ข Plan and execute Oracle database migrations, including Exadata and cloud migration initiatives.
โ€ข Configure and manage Oracle Data Guard and Data Guard Broker for automated switchovers and failovers.
โ€ข Install, configure, and support Oracle GoldenGate replication environments.
โ€ข Design, implement, and maintain enterprise backup and recovery solutions using RMAN.
โ€ข Perform quarterly Exadata patching across database, Grid Infrastructure, storage cells, networking, and firmware.
โ€ข Monitor and tune database performance using AWR, ADDM, OEM, and SQL optimization techniques.
โ€ข Develop and maintain PL/SQL objects including packages, procedures, triggers, views, and functions.
โ€ข Create shell and batch scripts for automation, monitoring, maintenance, and backups.
โ€ข Perform user administration, schema refreshes, capacity planning, and database maintenance activities.
โ€ข Troubleshoot database issues including locking, deadlocks, waits, and performance bottlenecks.
โ€ข Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and project teams to support enterprise database initiatives.
Required Skills:
โ€ข 5 to 7 years of Oracle Database Administration experience.
โ€ข Experience executing complex Oracle database migrations, including Exadata or On Premises to Cloud migrations.
โ€ข Strong experience with Oracle Data Guard and Data Guard Broker.
โ€ข Hands on experience with Oracle GoldenGate installation and configuration.
โ€ข Strong expertise with Oracle RMAN backup and recovery.

โ€ข Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 11g, 12c, and 19c.
โ€ข Experience with logical and physical database design and modeling.
