Job description

Airswift is seraching for a Junior Operator to work on a longp-term contract near Tehachapi, CA.
  • Job Type: Contract
  • Work period: Full-Time
  • Duration: 12 month with possibility of extension
  • Location: Tehachapi, California, United States
Role Overview
  • Comply with all internal and external health, safety, security, and environmental policies.
  • Meet established company timeframes for tasks to achieve department goals.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare equipment for job set-up.
  • Fill and transport chemical containers to designated staging areas.
  • Accurately complete production records for product tracking.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance for product testing.
  • Lift and move containers weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and take initiative.
  • Work independently while receiving support from the Shift Lead or Area Supervisor.
  • Engage in departmental and company improvement initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Knowledge of specialty chemicals and ISO-9002 standards is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Problem-solving skills to address operational challenges.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including inclement weather.
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
