Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, JavaScript, and MySQL to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, high-performance system architectures.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, ensuring system reliability, security, and minimal downtime.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, conduct code reviews, and follow best practices for quality and consistency.
• Participate in Agile processes, mentor junior developers, and work with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, including optimization of databases and domain-specific solutions (Cards & Payments).
Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience with Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, JavaScript, SQL, and MySQL, with hands-on experience building scalable applications.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and secure coding best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams and mentoring junior developers.
• Experience with database optimization, code quality practices (code reviews, documentation), and domain knowledge in Cards & Payments is highly desirable.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $ 68,422 $ to 131,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
