What You'll Do

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in keeping our manufacturing operations running efficiently and safely by troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving production equipment.

  • Diagnose and repair a wide variety of converting and manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Perform complex repairs involving gearboxes, drive systems, web handling equipment, pneumatic brakes, edge guides, dryer systems, burner controls, print cylinders, and other production machinery.
  • Remove, replace, and rebuild worn or damaged machine components.
  • Perform welding, machining, and fabrication of parts, machine guards, brackets, and custom components.
  • Conduct advanced preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and performance.
  • Inspect and assess machinery to ensure production equipment operates at design specifications.
  • Utilize basic electrical knowledge to complete routine electrical repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Partner with Engineering during new equipment installations and production upgrades.
  • Support spare parts management and maintenance inventory control.
  • Utilize the CMMS system to document work orders and maintenance activities.
  • Conduct Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and follow all safety requirements.
  • Participate in safety inspections and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior maintenance technicians.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics and prints.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to understand OEM manuals, technical documentation, and maintenance procedures.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing electrical controls and automated equipment.
  • Advanced problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Expertise with hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and fabrication equipment.
