Job Summary (Principal Enterprise Architect – Estimation Systems):
- Serve as the lead technical authority for advanced estimation system R&D, design, and evolution for a major rail transportation client.
- Architect scalable, high-accuracy estimation platforms using event-driven microservices, real-time data processing, and distributed systems.
- Drive R&D initiatives applying advanced mathematics, statistics, optimization, and physics-based simulation models.
- Establish and enforce enterprise architecture standards (TOGAF, BizBOK, DAMA-DMBOK) within a SAFe (Scaled Agile) environment.
- Lead modernization efforts, bridging legacy mainframe systems with cloud-native technology stacks (Java, Spring Boot).
- Design and deliver integrated solutions across operational, planning, and financial domains.
- Act as primary technical advisor to senior business and engineering leaders; translate complex requirements into actionable architecture roadmaps.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and engineers within cross-functional teams.
- Ensure alignment of solutions with enterprise-wide standards and governance frameworks.
