POSITION TITLE:High-Level Maintenance Mechanic
DEPARTMENT: Maintenance
JOB TYPE: FULL-TIME, NON-EXEMPT
The High-Level Machine Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex machinery and equipment. This role requires a deep understanding of electro-mechanical systems, precision, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Repair and replace defective parts, using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machine performance and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior mechanics and other team members.
  • Help in keeping the Facility systems in good working order.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a machine mechanic, with a focus on high-level or complex machinery such as CNC machines, robotics and PLC driven machinery.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
  • Machinist and Bi-lingual language skills a plus.
