The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills both oral and written; exhibit the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, work environment servicing multiple organizations. Off Hours support may occasionally be required as mission dictates.Some of the primary responsibilities will include:Linux Infrastructure & Security Integration: Configure, harden, and maintain enterprise Linux systems (primarily Rocky and RHEL) in accordance with DoW guidelines, STIGs, and RMF security standards.Ansible Automation & IaC: Write, test, and execute Ansible playbooks and roles to automate operating system patching, baseline provisioning, compliance drift remediation, and routine system maintenance across the lab footprint.Containerization & Virtualization: Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized application services (Podman, Docker) and virtual environments (OpenShift Virtualization, KVM, VMware) to maintain high-fidelity digital representations of physical test environments.Hardware & System Maintenance: Perform vulnerability scans, system auditing, and lifecycle maintenance.
