We are seeking a Senior Technical Support Specialist to join our team. This role will involve providing advanced system and user support for third-party enterprise applications, including troubleshooting, deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience in application support, database management, and scripting, along with a passion for delivering reliable technical solutions and enhancing user experience.

Job Title: Senior Technical Support Specialist
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – 1 day onsite per week; local candidates only)
Duration: 1 Year Contract
 

Job Description:

Under broad supervision, the selected candidate will provide comprehensive technical support for third-party enterprise systems. This includes troubleshooting end-user issues, supporting system implementations, and ensuring smooth application performance across the organization. The role may also involve training users and mentoring junior staff.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of relevant education or experience in IT support, system/network administration, or application development
  • Minimum 7 years of experience providing front-end and back-end support for third-party software applications
  • 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and Groovy scripting
  • Strong experience diagnosing and resolving application issues, including deployment and configuration
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and database development (Oracle and MS SQL)
  • Experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures for data analysis
  • Familiarity with XML and application integration concepts
  • Experience working with Java-based web applications or other programming languages
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

  • 5+ years of experience supporting Agile Assets / Trimble Asset Management systems
  • Experience with Oracle PL/SQL and T-SQL development
