Position Description:
CGI is seeking a Junior ServiceNow Developer to support technology initiatives within a financial services environment. This role will focus on designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow applications and workflows, with an emphasis on using AI assisted development tools to improve delivery speed, code quality, and automation.

This role is located at a client site in Knoxville, Tennessee in a hybrid environment.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
CGI is seeking a Junior ServiceNow Developer to support technology initiatives within a financial services environment. This role will focus on designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow applications and workflows, with an emphasis on using AI assisted development tools to improve delivery speed, code quality, and automation.
The ideal candidate will work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and platform owners to enhance ServiceNow capabilities, support integrations, and contribute to scalable solutions in an AWS heavy enterprise environment. This role requires strong hands on ServiceNow development experience, comfort working in regulated environments, and the ability to translate business needs into reliable technical solutions.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 2 years of hands-on experience developing and configuring ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, forms, and business rules
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow scripting, including JavaScript, Glide APIs, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer
• Experience supporting ServiceNow integrations with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, or similar tools
• Familiarity with AI assisted development tools and the ability to use them responsibly to accelerate coding, testing, documentation, or troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Service Catalog
• Experience in cloud-based environments, preferably AWS heavy enterprise ecosystems
• Ability to work in a financial services or other highly regulated environment with strong attention to security, auditability, and compliance
• Comfortable collaborating with business users, architects, QA teams, and DevOps teams to deliver maintainable platform solutions
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex workflow or integration issues
• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audience
Desired Skillset:
• Current ServiceNow Developer Certification preferred
• ITIL certification is not explicitly required, but knowledge of ITSM, ITIL, and CMDB is expected
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $58,000.00 to $89,600.00.
