To thrive as a Junior Java Programmer, you need a solid understanding of Java fundamentals, object-oriented programming principles, and a relevant degree or coursework in computer science. Familiarity with integrated development environments (IDEs) like Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA, version control systems such as Git, and basic knowledge of build tools like Maven is typically expected. As a Junior Java Programmer, you may initially find it challenging to understand large codebases, manage debugging complex issues, or adapt to new frameworks used by the team. It's common to feel overwhelmed by unfamiliar tools or best practices. To overcome these challenges, actively seek mentorship from senior developers, participate in code reviews, and dedicate time to practice and learn outside of daily tasks. Collaboration and communication within your team are key to quickly building your skills and confidence in the role.

What does a Junior Java Programmer do?
