Our client is seeking experienced Java Developers to design and build a scalable, high-performance automated locates platform for their securities finance business. You will develop distributed, enterprise-grade applications using modern Java frameworks, cloud technologies, and microservices architecture in a collaborative equities environment.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance systems for securities finance automation, including the automated locates platform
  • Build distributed systems and enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring frameworks, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Develop and optimize SQL-based data models and queries for high-volume transactional systems across relational databases
  • Integrate with messaging systems (Kafka, MQ, SQS, SNS) and Redis caching solutions for real-time data processing
  • Implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services and microservices architecture
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing securities finance workflows and legacy systems
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude) to enhance code quality and productivity
  • Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews to maintain high standards

Requirements
  • 8-10 years of professional Java development experience with deep expertise in Core Java and Spring frameworks
  • Strong proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture patterns
  • Expert-level SQL skills and relational database design experience with MS SQL and/or MySQL
