Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer with strong Java expertise to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of building scalable, resilient, and high-performance backend systems. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, helping shape the future of our products and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development: Architect, design, and develop highly scalable and fault-tolerant systems using Java.
Performance Optimization: Ensure system responsiveness and efficiency by identifying bottlenecks and resolving performance issues.
Code Quality: Maintain and enforce code quality through reviews, automating tests, and mentorship.
Continuous Integration and Deployment: Participate in CI/CD pipeline design and optimization.
Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement features and improvements.
Technical Leadership: Provide guidance to junior engineers, participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, and contribute to the technical vision and direction of the company.
Innovation: Research and recommend new technologies or solutions that can enhance product quality and user experience.
Documentation: Ensure proper documentation for codebase and architectural decisions.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of professional backend development experience.
Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Hibernate).
Experience with microservices architecture and API design.
Solid understanding of relational databases, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with modern CI/CD tools and practices.
Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalability challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
