Job Title: Full Stack Java Developer

Location: 3 days/week onsite in Trenton, NJ

Duration: 12+ Months

Rate: $40-45-50-53/hr on W2 or $50-60-63/hr on C2C or 1099- MAX

We are looking for a Software Engineer – Health Enterprise Web Applications. As the Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our health-focused enterprise web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions using Spring Boot, Java, and Python.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust enterprise web applications using Spring Boot and Java.
  • Integrate Python scripts and services to enhance application functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement application features.
  • Ensure the applications meet performance, quality, and deadlines by writing clean, scalable code and performing thorough testing.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation within the team.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong background in Spring Boot and Java.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server).
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Spring Framework & Spring Boot: Expert – Build and architect REST APIs using Spring MVC Controllers; extend/maintain Service layer with complex business logic; implement Repository patterns (JPA/CRUD); create and manage Entities with JPA annotations; develop custom Validators and validation strategies; configure and use RestTemplate/WebClient; apply AOP for cross-cutting concerns; advanced Spring configuration (profiles, properties, externalized config); strong understanding of Spring ecosystem and best practices.
  • Spring Security & JWT: Expert – Design and implement comprehensive authentication/authorization; configure JWT token generation, validation, and refresh strategies; implement role-based and permission-based access control; secure REST endpoints and handle security contexts; integrate with OAuth2, LDAP, or SSO; security best practices and vulnerability prevention.
