Job Profile-Java Developer
Location-Albany, NY
Duration- 24 Months
Job Description:
The services of a consultant are required to provide an expert java specialist required for the OTDA Business Solutions suite of java applications; this includes support, planning, design, development, mentoring, troubleshooting and quality assurance activities. The person in this position will provide expertise in all areas of the SSDLC as well as mentoring to junior java developers, and for support needed for the existing and new case management systems.
Candidates should have at least 84 months experience, and at least one of the following should apply:
1.    Experience developing enterprise level Java web application software solutions in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
2.    Experience developing Java applications using WebSphere Message Broker flows.
3.    Experience in EJB development and transaction management programming in a complex, large-scale environment involving the integration of J2EE applications with legacy mainframe environments.
4.    Experience working with a business rules engine, preferably Drools, and a Portal Framework, preferably Liferay.
5.    Experience working with/developing Java solutions with a Web security protocol (preferably using LDAP and SiteMinder) context.
6.    Experience with demonstrated proficiency in the proper application of standard design patterns (J2EE, GoF) to solve complex business problems.
7.    Experience with use of XML, JAXB and web services in a J2EE environment.
8.    Experience working with MVC frameworks like Struts or Spring.
9.    Experience with the use of Hibernate with Oracle.
10.    Experience analyzing business processes and workflows, and working with non-technical staff to develop system specifications and resolve problems.
11.    Experience in assisting in the configuration, performance tuning and troubleshooting of JBoss EAP and RedHat Apache servers.
