Job Title: Backend Developer (Scala and Java)

Location: Look for local to Coppell, TX, NYC, San Ramon, CA

Exp: 8+ years

Job Description:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and microservices using Scala and Java
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend integrations
  • Develop applications using the Play Framework
  • Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on AWS infrastructure
  • Work with AWS services such as ECS, RDS, Aurora MySQL, VPCs, ALB, and ELB
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and product managers
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term fixes
  • Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
