Job Title: Java Developer
Location: Manhattan, NY or Plano, TX or Columbus, OH or Wilmington, DE or Jersey City, NJ
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Java Developer with strong backend expertise in Java The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable microservices, developing cloud-native applications on AWS, and working with relational databases in enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
  • Develop and optimize applications leveraging PostgreSQL and relational database design principles.
  • Deploy, manage, and support cloud-native applications on AWS.
  • Utilize ECS and Terraform for container orchestration and infrastructure automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization initiatives.
  • Contribute to system design discussions and architectural decisions.

Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ Years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  • Experience working with relational databases, preferably Aurora PostgreSQL.
  • Strong understanding of AWS cloud services.
  • Hands-on experience with ECS and Terraform.
  • Experience building and supporting distributed applications in production environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Kafka or other messaging/event-streaming platforms.
  • Exposure to Spring AI and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 - $140,000 per annum. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
