About the Role
As a Program Instructor, you'll play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental and physical disabilities in a residential group home setting. You'll help people live safe, fulfilling lives while building trusting relationships that encourage independence and personal choice.
Your responsibilities may include:
  • Assisting with daily living skills such as personal care, meals, and routines
  • Supporting medical needs and appointments
  • Following individualized support and behavior plans
  • Encouraging community involvement and social engagement
  • Completing routine overnight safety checks (for overnight staff)
  • Working collaboratively as part of a compassionate, supportive team

We're seeking reliable, compassionate individuals who are motivated to make a difference.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Connecticut Driver's License
  • Ability to obtain DDS Medication Certification, CPR, and First Aid

Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is helpful-but not required. We provide paid training to help you succeed.
Pay
  • $19.28 per hour
  • Additional $0.50 per hour with DDS Medication Certification
  • Certification can be obtained after hire if not already certified

Shift Details:
  • West Haven/New Haven: M-F 7a-3p (40 FT)
  • West Haven M-F 9:00a-3:30p (32.5 FT)
