Job description

The School District of Phillips is seeking applicants for a full-time high school math teacher. This is a permanent full time position starting with the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and an ability to utilize technology within the learning environment to best prepare our students for success. It is preferred if the candidate has a Wisconsin license in Mathematics (1400). Other licenses will be considered for the right candidate. This position requires a dynamic teacher with ability to develop positive relationships with students, parents, peers, and the community. An enthusiastic teacher with the ability to implement curriculum and engage students in achieving learning outcomes will be the central function of this position. Ability to collaborate with colleagues is an essential skill for this position. Candidates who are proficient in the use of technology and interested in extracurricular and coaching positions are valued. Teaching experience preferred in Applied Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Trigonometry (Dual Credit), Precalculus (Dual Credit) and/or AP Calculus.
