Job Description:

The Parsons Smart Mobility team is seeking a talented Full-Stack Software Developer to join our team! In this role, you will have the opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge as a software developer, working alongside excellent mentors.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Full-Stack Web Application Development
    • Design, develop, test, and maintainweb-based applicationsend-to-end usingJavaon the server side andJavaScript/Reacton the client side.
    • Implement new features and improve existing ones across the full stack (database, APIs, backend, frontend).
  • Server-Side Java Development
    • Develop and maintain backend services usingJava, including:
      • WildFlyapplication server
      • Enterprise Java Beans (EJBs)and related Java EE/Jakarta EE technologies
      • Spring or Spring Boot application server
    • Implement business logic, data access layers, and integration points with other services.
  • API Development
    • Design, implement, and consumeRESTful APIsfor communication between front-end applications and backend services.
    • Work with JSON-based request/response payloads and standard HTTP methods and status codes.
  • Front-End Development (React & MUI)
    • Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using:
      • Reactfor component-based front-end development
      • MUI (Material UI)for consistent, modern UI components
      • Core web technologies includingJavaScript,HTML, andCSS
    • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and a high-quality user experience.
  • Database and SQL Development
    • Work withrelational databasesincluding:
      • Microsoft SQL Server

    • Write and optimizeSQLqueries, stored procedures, and database schemas to support application features and performance requirements.
  • Additional Technologies & Responsibilities
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, QA, DevOps, UX) in an Agile environment.
    • Applybest coding practices, participate in code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement.
    • Work with other technologies as needed, such asNodeJS,.NET,Python,HTML,CSS,JavaScript

What Qualifications You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
