Full Stack Microservices Engineer (Node, Docker, Kafka)
Location: Alpharetta, GA (willing to travel to client locations)
Employment Type: Full-Time (W2)
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Microservices Engineer to develop event-driven applications using Node.js, Docker, and Kafka. This role focuses on building scalable microservices with React frontends for real-time functionality.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Node.js microservices with REST APIs and Kafka for event streaming capabilities.
  • Build responsive React frontends to integrate with microservices and display real-time data.
  • Deploy applications using Docker containers and manage them in production environments.
  • Implement event-driven architectures with Kafka to support high-throughput data flows.
  • Optimize full stack solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability across layers.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration of microservices and frontend components.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3 years of experience in full stack development with Node.js, Docker, and Kafka.
  • Proficiency in building microservices with REST APIs and event streaming using Kafka.
  • Experience with containerized deployments using Docker for full stack applications.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and real-time data integration.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes for orchestrating Docker-based microservices deployments.
