  • Experience building component libraries and design systems using Storybook, with a focus on creating stateless, reusable components that prioritize composition and performance

  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) and well-developed opinions on effective AI interaction patterns and workflows

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prompt and collaborate with AI coding assistants to accelerate development, with experience integrating these tools into team workflows for code review, refactoring, test generation, or documentation

  • Track record of mentoring and growing engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance

  • Serverless systems development experience working with AWS services like API Gateway, EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, SQS, SNS, and Cognito.

  • Demonstrated ability to write clean, testable code with strong automated testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests

  • Experience optimizing front-end performance including bundle size reduction, code splitting, lazy loading, and Core Web Vitals

  • Ability to work independently, lead cross-functional collaboration with product and design teams, and drive projects to completion

  • Understanding of system design principles, including loose coupling, separation of concerns, and scalable architecture patterns

  • US citizenship or existing work visa

It would be a plus if you have.
  • Hands-on experience with Claude Code for development workflows such as code review, refactoring, or test generation

  • Experience with Flutter for mobile development - we maintain several Flutter applications that need ongoing improvements and feature work

  • Have experience in the logistics industry

  • Design and build scalable front-end features for our SaaS platform, including payment processing, invoice management, and carrier/fleet operations tools

  • Establish and evolve our component library in Storybook, creating reusable, stateless components that accelerate feature development across the platform

  • Drive the modernization of our codebase by leading migration efforts from legacy code to modern React patterns, TypeScript, and current best practices

  • Leverage Claude Code and AI-assisted development workflows throughout the development lifecycle—from initial feature design and implementation to refactoring, test generation, and documentation

  • Mentor and grow the front-end team through code reviews, pair programming sessions, and sharing best practices for both React development and effective AI-assisted workflows
