We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Full Stack Developer
to join our Risk and Compliance Engineering Hub team. This role is in Pittsburgh
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Full-Stack Technical Leadership: Drive the design and end-to-end delivery of robust microservices, batch applications, and ETL jobs using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs, while supervising frontend integrations utilizing Angular, HTML, and CSS.
  • Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure: Lead the deployment, management, and resource optimization of high-performance cloud-native applications hosted on Google Cloud Platform, specifically utilizing Google App Engine.
  • DevOps & Pipeline Automation: Architect and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate software delivery, ensure release predictability, and manage environment stability.
  • Cross-Functional & Agile Delivery: Spearhead sprint execution within Agile frameworks, collaborating directly with business stakeholders to translate strategic requirements into technical roadmaps and engineering tasks.
  • Database Management & Code Quality: Enforce rigorous code reviews and engineering best practices while managing the integrity, security, and performance tuning of complex Oracle relational schemas and SQL queries.
  • AI Integration (Emerging Tech): Champion the adoption of modern AI methodologies by designing intelligent AI agents, integrating them into backend services, and leveraging advanced prompt engineering to accelerate team development velocity.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • Core Technical Expertise: 12+ years of progressive software engineering experience, highlighting advanced development capabilities across the full stack-including Java, Spring Boot microservices, batch processing, ETL pipelines, and Oracle relational databases, alongside implementation knowledge of Angular/React, HTML,CSS or related front end technology.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Proven track record planning, deploying, and maintaining high-availability architectures on Google Cloud Platform, specifically leveraging Google App Engine environments.
  • DevOps Engineering: Demonstrated mastery of modern DevOps strategies, including constructing and automating continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) lifecycles to guarantee reliable software delivery.
  • People & Agile Leadership: Extensive experience functioning as a Technical Lead guiding engineering teams through complex technical challenges, conducting code reviews, and steering development cycles within Agile frameworks.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders to align engineering efforts with strategic corporate goals.

Consults with internal business groups to provide high-level application software development services or technical support. Must have thorough and demonstrative knowledge on or both the user-side frontend of a website, as well as the backend, server-side that powers the user-side. Additional requirements include intermediate understanding of security principles, relational databases and architecture design principles. Provides comprehensive senior-level technical consulting to IT management and senior technical staffs. Evaluates compliance with the organization's technology standards. Programming well-designed, testable, efficient code. Analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites. Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to satisfy requirements and solutions. Maintain software functionality and currency (technical debt and gain). Actively participate in code reviews. Integrate software components into a fully functional software system. Apply security and privacy principles. Works with internal business groups on implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements of various applications. Analyzes information and provides recommendations to address and resolve business issues for a specific business group. Guides and consults with IT management and technical staffs regarding use of emerging technologies and associated services. Participates in defining corporate implementation and integration strategies of new technologies. Active learning engagement. Complete all required mandatory training / policy awareness curricula on time. Use learning tools such as Pluralsight to complete both recommended and aspirational targets set in personal development plans. Stays abreast of emerging technologies. Advocates for innovative, creative technology solutions. Mentors junior level engineers. Expertise in using a specific application development toolkit and proficiency of front end and backend development coding languages such as C#, Java, HTML, NodeJS, CSS, JSON, Angular, JavaScript. Must also have proficiency in application frameworks and containerization. Communications and organization skills; team work skills ; possess strong interpersonal skills to support mentoring. N/A. Contributes to the achievement of area objectives. Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 10-14 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. Job holder must have understanding interdependencies and business impact of future IT plans. S/he must have prior lead experience selecting and implementing vendor-specific methodologies and prior consulting experience with structured methodologies.
