Job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our centralized development team, where you'll help design, build, and maintain the internal systems that support our retail operations. In this role, you'll develop both front-end user experiences and back-end services for highly integrated web applications that connect our physical stores, point-of-sale systems, order management, inventory management, customer-facing platforms, and other core business systems.

You'll collaborate across the full software development lifecycle, building intuitive user interfaces, developing scalable APIs and business logic, integrating with internal systems, and optimizing application performance. This role offers the opportunity to work across the entire technology stack while contributing to solutions that have a direct impact on our business.

Our team values both collaboration and ownership. You'll have the autonomy to lead your work from design through implementation while partnering with teammates through code reviews, pair programming, and architectural discussions. We're looking for engineers who are passionate about building high-quality software, solving complex technical challenges, and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and teamwork.

Responsibilities

You'll contribute to a suite of internal full-stack web applications built with C#/.NET Core, SQL, and modern front-end frameworks that support our retail operations. These applications power our point-of-sale system, order and customer management, inventory management, order fulfillment, and other business-critical services.

In this role, you will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications and services.
  • Build new features and enhance existing functionality across our retail platforms.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between internal systems, including our GraphQL API.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues to improve system performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with teammates on technical design, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that supports our retail operations.
Physical Requirements
  • Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.

  • Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
Remote Work Qualifications
  • Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.
  • Access to a home router and modem.
  • A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).
  • A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment.
  • The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.
  • Legal residents of one of the following states: (AK, AL, AR, AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WI, WV, or WY). H-1B Visa Sponsorship Not Available, W2 only.
Experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience developing applications with C#/.NET Core.
  • Experience working with SQL databases, including writing and optimizing queries.
  • Experience with at least one modern front-end framework (such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software development best practices.
  • Experience using Git or another version control system.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a collaborative team environment.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience building or consuming GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience with Entity Framework.
