Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) manages and operates the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) for the U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA).ย  Our MISSION is to help ensure the security of the United States and its allies by providing high-hazard experimentation and incident response capabilities through operations, engineering, education, field, and integration services and by acting as environmental stewards to the Site's Cold War legacy.ย  Our VISION is to be the user site of choice for large-scale, high-hazard, national security experimentation, with premier facilities and capabilities below ground, on the ground, and in the air.   • Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent computer-related experience with at least 8 years of relevant, progressively responsible experience.
  • Minimum of 10-12 years of dedicated experience as an Oracle APEX Developer, with at least 3-4 years specifically with Cloud ADBs preferred.
  • Proven experience integrating APEX applications with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP/HCM using standard APIs and web services.
  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing integrations usingREST web services(both consuming external services and providing services from APEX).
  • Experience working in a hybrid environment connecting custom applications to enterprise SaaS platforms.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and managingSingle Sign-On (SSO)and security configurations withinOCI IAMand Oracle Fusion environments.
  • REST Web Services & Integration: Expertise usingOracle Integration Cloud (OIC)or other middleware platforms to orchestrate complex data flows, leverage Fusion APIs, and manage connections securely.
  • Oracle APEX Mastery:Expert knowledge of APEX features, including Interactive Grids/Reports, Forms, Pages, authentication, authorization, and themes.
  • Integration Expertise:Strong understanding of integration protocols (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON). Experience with OIC is a significant advantage.
  • Database Proficiency:Expert in SQL and PL/SQL for building application logic and data management.
  • Web Technologies:Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development and customization within APEX.
  • Relevant Oracle certifications are highly valued, such as Oracle APEX Cloud Developer Professional.
  • The primary work location will be at the Losee Road Facility in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
  • Work schedule will be 4/10s Monday through Thursday (subject to change).
  • Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.

The Enterprise Application Solutions team within the Information Technology Directorate is looking for an Oracle Fusion Cloud APEX Developer (Principal Applications Analyst) to join the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • UtilizeOracle Integration Cloud (OIC)or other middleware platforms to orchestrate complex data flows, leverage Fusion APIs, and manage connections securely.
  • Expose APEX application data securely as REST services for consumption by other enterprise systems.
  • APEX Development:Lead the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for custom Oracle APEX applications, from requirements gathering and design to deployment and ongoing support.
  • REST Web Services & Integration:
    • Design, develop, and consumeRESTful web servicesfor seamless, real-time data exchange between custom APEX applications and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP/HCM.
    • UtilizeREST APIsandSOAP web servicesprovided by Oracle Fusion for real-time data exchange.
    • Expose APEX application data securely as REST services for consumption by other enterprise systems.
  • Fusion SaaS Integration:Design, build, and manage integrations between custom APEX solutions and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP/HCM using various methods:
    • Interfacing withBI Publisher (BIP)reports or services to extract or submit data.
  • Single Sign-On (SSO) & Security:
    • Implement and manage secure authentication and authorization mechanisms for APEX applications usingOracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Identity and Access Management (IAM).
    • ConfigureSSObetween APEX applications, OCI services, and Fusion Cloud Applications (ERP/HCM) using protocols such as SAML 2.0 or OIDC.
    • Ensure robust security measures within APEX applications, including managing user authentication, authorization schemes, and adhering to OCI security best practices.
  • Security & Governance:Implement robust security measures within APEX applications, managing user authentication, authorization schemes, and ensuring data security in compliance with corporate standards and Fusion security models.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts (Finance, HR, Supply Chain), and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
  • Documentation & Testing:Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, integration maps, and test scripts (unit, system, UAT support).
