We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst with a strong background in both accounting and financial analysis to join our team. This hybrid role plays a key part in driving informed financial decisions by analyzing financial performance, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring robust accounting practices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial principles, operational costs, and strategic planning, along with the ability to present insights that support business growth and efficiency.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze historical and current financial data to estimate future revenues and expenditures.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, operating records, and profit plans to assess organizational health.
  • Support a variety of core financial functions including:
    • Budgeting and forecasting
    • Financial and tax planning
    • Cost control and project control
    • Consolidation and auditing
  • Evaluate capital expenditures, investment opportunities, and return on investment.
  • Identify trends, operational inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities through detailed financial reviews.
  • Develop and implement financial models and concepts for planning, reporting, and control.
  • Provide analytical support and recommendations on budgets, forecasts, compliance, and special financial studies.
  • Advise management on the effective use of resources and help interpret financial and budgetary assumptions.
  • Conduct audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
  • Serve as a consultant to leadership on financial policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior finance or accounting staff when applicable.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field with a Master's or CPA/CFA preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, GAAP, and reporting standards
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
  • Ability to conduct thorough audits and create comprehensive financial reports
  • Experience with business performance metrics, including revenue per head, cost efficiency, and P&L analysis.
  • Superior attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal - with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with various departments and senior management.
