Job Description
This contract with the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) provides enterprise information technology services support. Services are provided across a broad range of DMDC products and services, spanning numerous systems and applications and covering all four primary business lines:
  1. Decision Support - Decision makers have the information they need, when they need it, to make the best decision for the Department, the war fighters and their families,

The candidate of choice must be able to obtain and maintain a position of public trust vetting. Active secret or higher clearance may substitute for position of public trust vetting.
The Junior Software Development Project Manager candidate of choice will perform the following activities under the guidance of senior management:
Qualifications
  1. All applicants must be a Wounded Warrior or be a Disabled Veteran with a minimum of 30% documented disability
  2. Serve as a Junior Project Manager for one or more software engineering projects
  3. Monitor project completion from initiation through delivery - all phases of the software development lifecycle
  4. Support Senior Manager in the development and tracking of project metrics to report performance
  5. Prepare business and technical presentation for customer
  6. Track plans and schedules and perform risk analysis and mitigation to meet contract deliverables
  7. Assist management with recruiting, and training plans for staff members
  8. Support the preparation of standard process documentation (functional and technical specification) and other documents related to the software development
  9. Support budget analysis, resource management, to ensure delivery within time, scope and budget.
