As a Junior Field Services Engineer, you will be delivering a wide range of services including standard maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and calibration of Waygate Technologies equipment. You will be working on Phoenix 2D & 3D CT X-ray testing machine hardware and software at both Waygate and customer locations. This role requires extensive travel, expected to exceed 70%.
Fuel your passion
As a Junior Field Services Engineer, after completing a rigorous technical training program, you will be responsible for:
  • Maintaining, repairing, and installing industrial X-ray systems and supporting peripheral equipment such as X-ray tubes, generators, coolers, scanners, stepper motors/controllers, power supplies, high-voltage control circuits, motion control systems, and high-end PCs.
  • Providing technical support to customers via phone and on-site service visits.
  • Completing service reports, invoicing packages, and administrative documentation in a timely manner.
  • Driving customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and honoring commitments.
  • Monitoring site safety throughout the execution of all work scopes.

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a four-year technical degree (AEET, AMET) with experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment OR have a four-year degree in Electronics (BSEET, BSEE) or Mechanics (BSMET, BSME).
  • Have the ability to regularly lift/move up to 20 lbs. and frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs.
  • Have the willingness to undergo background checks including employment verification, criminal history, driving record, and education.
  • Have the ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
  • Have a valid driver's license and passport (or the ability to obtain one).
  • Have valid U.S. citizenship status.
