Job description

IDEXX IT is seeking a Senior SAP SD Application Analyst to help deliver solutions that support the organization's strategic goals and ongoing SAP Sales module initiatives. In this role, you will be a key contributor on the Global SAP Sales & Logistics team, driving effective and scalable solutions.

The SAP Center of Excellence (COE) plays a critical role at IDEXX, leading an integrated and agile approach to enterprise systems as technology continues to evolve. SAP serves as the core platform supporting global operations and growth, maintained through a single ERP instance by a diverse team of experts across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
The SAP Sales & Logistics team, part of the global COE, provides functional support for SAP Sales and Logistics modules. The team continuously improves business processes and delivers impactful solutions. In this role, you will...

  • Manage and optimize endtoend sales and distribution processes, including order management, pricing, billing, and logistics execution.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, configure SAP SD modules, resolve issues, and support continuous process improvements
  • Develop, implement, and support continuous business requirements on the global SAP system to tailor-make SAP fit the IDEXX evolving business.
  • Provide production support and project delivery.
  • Gather business requirements.
  • Perform functional analysis and deliver functional design documents.
  • Configure the system and support developers when needed
  • Provide testing support.

What you will need to Succeed...

  • Location: We are preferring individuals that are driving distance to our Westbrook, Maine HQ who are willing to by on-site on a flexible hybrid basis of only 8 days per month. Alternatively, we are also open to regionally based people (ME, NH, MA) that can work remotely and come to our HQ less frequently than 8 days per month. We are not considering those outside of New England at this time.
  • 5 to 7+ years of experience with the SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Module
  • Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash processes, including sales orders, deliveries, billing, and pricing
    Experience with S/4HANA SD is preferred.
  • Ability to create functional specifications and work with ABAP developers.
  • Experience in IDoc/EDI processing and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience supporting production incidents, root-cause analysis, and enhancements
  • Excellent problem solving skills required.
  • Good to have SAP Test Automation Experience such as creating the scripts and work with QE Team.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
