Join a pioneering team shaping the future of LEO commercial satellite missions. From concept to orbit, we design and operate spacecraft that advance connectivity, Earth observation, and in-space infrastructure. As a Senior Electrical Satellite Systems Engineer, you'll drive mission success by leading the design, integration, and verification of satellite electrical systems, while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with operators, customers, and launch partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Design: Lead electrical subsystem design through flight, build, and test phases; define and manage power, data, and reliability budgets.
  • Requirements Management: Develop and maintain system requirements, verification, and test matrices from mission to subsystem levels.
  • Technical Analysis: Conduct power budgets, failure mode, and reliability analyses to ensure system performance.
  • Interface Control: Oversee interface control documents (ICDs) for seamless subsystem integration.
  • Testing & Verification: Design and execute test plans for qualification, LEOP, and environmental testing (TVAC, EMC/EMI).
  • Documentation: Maintain design reports, specifications, and verification matrices.
  • Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with software, mechanical, and ground segment teams.
  • Supplier Management: Manage subcontractors and vendors to meet program requirements.
  • Program Support: Contribute to major reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, PSR, LRR).
Required Skills and ExperienceEducation
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
Experience
  • 15+ years in LEO satellite systems design with full lifecycle experience.
Technical Expertise
  • Systems Architecture: Define spacecraft electrical architecture for optimal payload-bus integration; manage avionics, power, AOCS, propulsion, TT&C, thermal, and data handling interfaces.
  • Requirements & Traceability: Own requirement flow-down, traceability, and gap analyses to meet mission objectives.
  • Verification & Validation: Lead electrical performance validation, fault management (FDIR), and system integration testing.
  • Operations Support: Interface with launch providers, support LEOP, in-orbit testing, and SOCC activities (telemetry, anomaly resolution).
  • Leadership: Engage stakeholders, lead design reviews, and ensure compliance with ECSS, PUS-STD, and internal standards.
Tools & Soft Skills
  • Proficiency in flight engineering software, Agile methods, and modeling tools (e.g., MATLAB).
  • Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven problem-solving in dynamic, high-stakes environments.
Why Join Us
  • Drive commercial space missions redefining global connectivity and exploration.
  • Lead cutting-edge systems engineering, balancing innovation and reliability.
