MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cyber Security Project Manager to join our team in Virginia Beach , VA. This position is on-site 5 days a week.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Report directly to the Program Manager and will be a manager of both direct reports and support personnel supporting a matrix organization.

  • Manage cyber security programs with specific knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DIACAP and in evaluating, implementing, and managing Continuous Monitoring Plans

  • Directly manage projects associated with Magenta tasking, solve complex problems; take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.

  • Lead and coordinate the scoping, gather technical requirements, estimating, and planning for single or multiple projects or work streams.

  • Coordinate systems development for major applications, define project requirements including information and data needs, business analysis and programming.

  • Daily Management and coordination of all technical and logistical aspects of a project including timelines, risks, risk mitigation strategies, action items and change requests.

  • Administer technologies that directly support cyber security and the protection of company assets and data.

  • Support a team environment based on mutual respect and teamwork, dedicated to innovation and effective, efficient work practices.

  • 25% travel anticipated.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Masters degree and 6+ years of relevant project management experience, or a Bachelors degree and 8+ years of relevant project management experience, or a High School Diploma and 12+ years of relevant project management experience in lieu of Master's degree

  • Must have an IT and or Cybersecurity experience

  • Experience with RMF and/or DIACAP

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the United States Navy preferred

  • Experience with NSWC Corona RS Division and NCTE

  • Experience with planning and developing project schedule

  • Experience with managing cost, schedule, and performance

  • 2+ Years of managerial experience with DoD efforts

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current and active TS/SCI Clearance with ability to obtain SAP access.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work will require movement from Government site to/from MANTECH site for client meetings and support functions.

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which involve delivering presentations.


The projected compensation range for this position is $122,700.00-$190,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.  In addition, MANTECH invests in its employees beyond just compensation.  MANTECH's benefits offerings include, dependent upon position, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, short-term and long-term Disability, Retirement and Savings, Learning and Development opportunities, wellness programs as well as other optional benefit elections.
