About the Opportunity
DMI, LLC is seeking an Jr. IT Asset Management Specialist to join us.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in tracking and maintaining IT assets, including hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Support asset inventory updates by logging new acquisitions, disposals, and transfers in asset management systems.
  • Perform basic audits of IT assets to ensure records are accurate and up to date.
  • Help coordinate the deployment and retrieval of IT equipment for employees and projects.
  • Assist with software license tracking and compliance reporting.
  • Respond to asset-related service requests and escalate issues as needed.
  • Maintain documentation of asset records, ownership changes, and warranty details.
  • Support the procurement process by obtaining quotes and processing asset-related orders.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper tagging and labeling of assets.
  • Generate reports on IT asset inventory and assist in data analysis.

Qualifications
Education and Years of Experience:
  • Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or other related field plus 0- 2 years of experience, or
  • High School Diploma plus 6 -8 years of experience
