What is a junior crime analyst?

Junior Crime Analysts are entry-level professionals who assist law enforcement agencies in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to criminal activity. They help identify crime patterns, trends, and hotspots by working with crime reports, statistical data, and mapping tools. Their work supports senior analysts and police officers in making informed decisions about resource allocation and crime prevention strategies. Junior Crime Analysts often prepare reports, maintain databases, and may assist in investigative research. This role is ideal for individuals interested in criminology, analytics, and public safety.
