The Financial Business Analyst will be required to perform periodic financial reporting, assessments, operational analysis, as well as ad-hoc analysis. The Analyst will have a combination of systems knowledge including: SAP, BW, Vena, Power BI. Responsibilities include cost accounting and FP&A activities. The Analyst will work closely with the business teams to achieve desired performance goals.
You will make an impact in this role by:
  • Perform periodic financial analyses, review, investigate and explain financial results on a routine basis to support business including sales, margins, fixed costs, inventory, etc.
  • Perform financial forecasting for one or multiple divisions. Review and compare assigned business' operating profit and loss results to established plans, standard costs, and previous actuals.
  • Advanced development, assessment, and maintenance of cost accounting framework (policy development, system execution, assessment of labor and overhead rates to ensure proper absorption of cost activities, etc.).
  • Using system tools to build financial models for reporting and analyses needs, creating presentations for knowledge sharing and financial discussion sessions.
  • Ad hoc financial analysis for HYDAC business units or corporate activities as required.

To be considered for the Financial Business Analyst role, you must have the following minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required.
  • MBA degree preferred.
  • 4 or more years' experience in a financial role in a manufacturing organization.
