Job Summary
The Junior Cloud Administrator Focus: Microsoft 365 & Cloud Operations will support the IT team in maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on the Microsoft 365 (Office 365) ecosystem. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with a foundational understanding of cloud environments who is eager to manage enterprise collaborative tools, identity management, and cloud operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Microsoft 365 Administration: Perform daily administrative tasks within the Microsoft 365 admin center, including managing user licenses, configuring shared mailboxes, and supporting Exchange Online. ?
  • Modern Device Deployment: Assist with the configuration and maintenance of
    • Windows Autopilot deployment profiles: register hardware hashes, manage Out-of-Box Experience (OOBE) settings, and ensure a seamless, zero-touch provisioning experience for end-users.
    • Endpoint Management (Intune): Monitor and maintain Microsoft Intune configurations, including device enrollment (Windows, iOS, Android), application packaging/deployment, and routine patch management (Windows Update for Business).
    • Policy & Compliance Enforcement: Support the implementation of Intune configuration profiles, endpoint security baselines, and device compliance policies to ensure hardware aligns with organizational security standards.
  • Collaboration Platform Support: Maintain and support SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive environments, ensuring proper site creation, data structure, and sharing permissions.
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM): Assist with user onboarding/offboarding, managing security groups, and enforcing conditional access policies and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) via Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
  • Monitoring & Security Alerts: Monitor cloud security dashboards and audit logs for anomalies, assisting with the initial triaging of system alerts.
  • Backup & Data Retention: Monitor automated cloud backup solutions and assist with standard data retention and discovery requests.
  • Documentation & Training: Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and end-user self-help guides for Office 365 features.

Requirements
Technical Qualifications
  • Education: Associate's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
  • Microsoft 365 Expertise: Foundational knowledge of Microsoft 365 core services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, Autopilot) and Entra ID.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (MS-900) or Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Potentials (MS-102).
