Sr. AWS Cloud Engineer
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Strong experience with AWS EC2, EKS, VPC networking, and cloud-native deployments.
• Deep understanding of AWS migration processes and rehost/replatform strategies.
• Knowledge of S3, EFS, FSx, EBS, and storage lifecycle/backup policies.
• Hands-on expertise with Terraform modules, workspaces, and state management.
• Familiarity with Java/.NET apps, TIBCO ESB, and infra dependencies during migration.
• Experience with Linux (RHEL 7/8/9) and Windows Server (20162025) administration.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across OS, networking, and cloud infra layers.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git-based workflows, and automation pipelines.
• Ability to read HLD/LLDs and convert them into working infra builds.
• Understanding of cloud security, IAM, policies, tagging, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, storage services, and load balancers.
• Experience with AWS migration tools, automation frameworks, and hybrid networking.
• Familiarity with integration to Oracle Exadata on AWS and SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud observability.
• Ability to operate within cloud governance, cost control, and compliance guidelines.
Roles & Responsibilities
Implement AWS infra for migration waves including compute, storage, network, IAM.
• Deploy and configure EC2, AMIs, scaling, load balancers, and network components.
• Support EKS setup including clusters, node groups, networking, and deployments.
• Build Terraform modules ensuring repeatable infra provisioning.
• Work with app teams to validate configs, env variables, scripts, and connectivity.
• Troubleshoot OS, network ACL/SG issues, and app deployment failures.
• Assist DB and ESB teams to validate connectivity for Oracle, Exadata, SQL, TIBCO.
• Implement monitoring with CloudWatch, logging agents, alarms, and dashboards.
• Support migration cutovers via validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Prepare documentation, execution steps, validation logs, and runbooks.
Salary Range- $110,000-$140,000 a year
