Job Summary:
ANSER enhances national and homeland security by strengthening public institutions. They are seeking a Senior Systems Architect to support the development, maintenance, and evolution of enterprise and solution architectures across the GEOINT enterprise. The role involves guiding architecture development efforts, supporting Government stakeholders, and providing technical leadership to mid- and junior-level architects.
Responsibilities:
• Support and guide Mid- and Junior-level Systems Architects in enterprise and solution architecture development activities.
• Assist in the design, development, maintenance, and documentation of solution architectures aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Ensure architecture artifacts are traceable to enterprise requirements and mission objectives.
• Analyze user requirements, system capabilities, and workflow processes to improve system design and efficiency.
• Support evaluation and modernization of existing systems and architecture solutions.
• Develop and refine solution architecture designs across applications, APIs, data services, and infrastructure services.
• Recommend architecture improvements based on requirements analysis and emerging technologies.
• Support compliance with DoDAF and IC Program Architecture Guidance (PAG) standards.
• Participate in enterprise architecture trade studies and technical assessments.
• Support alignment of architecture solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
• Assist Government stakeholders with architecture decision-making and technical planning.
• Contribute to enterprise architecture documentation and governance processes.
• Support integration of architecture across multiple programs and mission domains.
• Collaborate with engineering, integration, and systems teams to ensure architectural alignment.
• Mentor junior architecture staff and support knowledge sharing across teams.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI eligibility and successfully pass a polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related STEM field. Equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
• 12+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, DoDAF, or IC Program Architecture Guidance (PAG).
• Previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program or project experience.
• Previous Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD) program or project experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise or solution architecture development in complex environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and principles.
• Experience supporting cloud, hybrid, and on-premises architectures.
• Experience participating in architecture analysis, design, or governance activities.
• Strong communication, analytical, and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
• Master’s degree in a STEM-related field.
• Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes, tools, and languages.
• Certified Enterprise Architect credential (e.g., National Defense University Enterprise Architecture Certification).
• Experience applying DoDAF and IC Program Architecture Guidance (PAG).
• Experience supporting GEOINT Enterprise Architecture (GEA) initiatives.
• Experience conducting architecture trade-off analysis and decision support.
• Exposure to enterprise modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
