  • Design, develop, test, implement and maintain information systems for business processes.
  • Work closely with Business Partners in the analysis, design, development and use of applications.
  • Prepare and maintain project, program and operational documentation.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Enhance and maintain information systems critical to the daily operation of the business.
  • Document business requirements and translate them into written technical specifications.
  • Create data structures and process flows to achieve desired results.
  • Develop, execute and document test plans.
  • Coordinate with business teams to solve problems, support and coordinate the implementation of computer systems.
  • Develop detailed project plans and time estimates.
  • Provide on-call support of production applications as part of a rotation within the development team.
Qualifications

Experience and Skills:

Masters degree in Information Technology or related and 2 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems and 5 years of experience.

Experience with MicroStrategy architecture, dashboard, and report development in an Enterprise Data Warehouse environment. Experience with MicroStrategy 9.x modules: Desktop, Report Services, Object Manager, Integrity Manger and Command Manager. Experience designing, developing and testing applications in an information systems environment.

Experience developing applications, performance tuining of schemas and individual reports, configuration of Schema and Star Schema objects and leveraging intelligent server, intelligent cubes, and OLAP services.

Proficient in developing MicroStrategy objects, filters, prompts and metrics. Proficient in SQL 2004/2008 or higher.

Experience developing and deploying MicroStrategy reports and dashboards to mobile platforms - iPad, iPhone, and/or Android based devices. Participate in the installation, configuration and tuning of a MicroStrategy environment release 9.0

Additional Information

Contract duration: 12 Months with possible extensions
