Job Description:                                           

  • The Android Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining mobile applications that deliver seamless digital experiences to customers, employees, and business partners. This role contributes to the organization''s digital transformation initiatives by building scalable, secure, and high-performing Android applications that align with business objectives and customer expectations.
  • The position works closely with product owners, business stakeholders, UX designers, architects, quality engineering teams, and backend development teams to deliver innovative mobile solutions. The Android Developer plays a key role in translating business requirements into intuitive mobile experiences while ensuring application reliability, maintainability, and long-term scalability.
  • This role requires participation throughout the software development lifecycle, from solution planning and design through deployment, support, and continuous improvement. The individual is expected to contribute to technical discussions, support modernization initiatives, and help establish mobile development best practices across the organization."                                                                                                    

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance Android mobile applications aligned with business and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to understand functional requirements and translate them into mobile application features.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospective sessions.
  • Review application designs and provide recommendations to improve usability, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Work closely with UX/UI teams to implement user-friendly and visually appealing mobile interfaces.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
  • Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.
  • Coordinate with backend teams to integrate APIs and enterprise services.
  • Ensure application quality through unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.
  • Maintain technical documentation related to mobile application features and releases.

Weekly Responsibilities:

  • Participate in architecture and solution design discussions.
  • Support application deployment activities and release management processes.
  • Analyze customer feedback and application usage metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with QA teams during testing cycles to ensure successful delivery.
