About This Role

Happy Haven Childcare is a Quality Rated childcare facility in Lilburn GA. Happy Haven Childcare is looking to hire on a Georgia Pre-K Assistant Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year (August-May) with the opportunity to continue on in our Summer Transition Program during the summer months of June-July 2026. This position has paid holidays, off on weekends, and breaks following the Gwinnett County Schools system.


What You'll Do

Duties include but are not limited to following and assisting in implementing lesson plans, attending mandatory training (in-person & online), communicating with parents, and maintaining the cleanliness; health and safety of the classroom environment.


Requirements

Must have a High School Diploma or higher

20 children with the help of a classroom Lead Teacher

Minimum of 1 year of experience

Familiar with GA-PREK rules and standards is a plus

Availability to work full time Mon-Fri 8am-2:30pm (32.5 hours per week)
