SHIFT LEAD

(Deli & Front Counter)
$18–$22/hr | Age 21+ | Full-Time or Part-Time, Year-Round

Help run the shop.

We’re looking for someone reliable, level-headed, and ready to take ownership of a shift.

This is a working leadership role—you’ll be on the floor, not in an office.

What you’ll be responsible for:
  • Leading the team during busy service
  • Keeping things moving quickly and accurately
  • Running deli equipment (including slicer)
  • Jumping in wherever needed (register, line, prep, bakery)
  • Opening or closing the shop
  • Troubleshooting issues as they come up

What we’re looking for:
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Comfortable leading peers
  • Calm under pressure
  • Able to make decisions without being told what to do
  • Flexible scheduling across morning, mid-day, evening

Requirements:
  • Age 21+
  • Prior food service or retail experience preferred
  • Weekend availability

Scheduling:
  • Typical shifts: 8 hours, 3-5 days per week (depending on part/full-time)
  • Typical shift timing: 6am-2pm (opening), 10:30am-6:30pm (closing)

This role is a good fit if you:

✔ Take initiative naturally
✔ Like being responsible for outcomes
✔ Can stay organized in a fast-paced environment

Not a good fit if you:

✘ Avoid responsibility
✘ Need constant supervision
✘ Struggle under pressure

Growth path:

This role can lead directly to a Front End Manager position.
