Job description

Join the Tomato Bar Team

Tomato Bar started in Valparaiso, IN back in 2013 with one simple idea: make pizza amazing and keep it real. Every detail of our restaurants—our food, our vibes, and our people—is built with quality at the core.

We’re not your average pizza spot. We’re fast-paced, fun, and big on teamwork. Around here, positivity is contagious and laughter belongs on the line. If you thrive when working shoulder-to-shoulder with a crew that’s got your back, you’ll fit right in.

✨ Why You’ll Love Working Here

We believe a job should support your life, not drain it. That’s why we offer:

  • 75% company-paid health, dental & vision for full-time team members
  • HSA plans
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) for all team members (yes, all)
  • Sick time for full-time
  • Flexible scheduling because life happens
  • Employee discounts (including at our sister spot, Blockhead Beerworks)
  • 401(k) with company match for future-you
  • Competitive pay that actually reflects your effort
The Kitchen Team

Our kitchens run on teamwork. You might rotate between stations like Pizza Line, Sandwich Line, Salads, Expo, Prep, Dough, and Dish. No two days are exactly the same, which keeps things fresh.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Keeping things clean, safe, and running smooth
  • Prepping ingredients (chopping, slicing, dicing—basically food art)
  • Helping unload and organize deliveries
  • Communicating with managers + teammates
  • Jumping in to help wherever the team needs you
  • Occasionally interacting with guests with a smile
What We’re Looking For
  • Restaurant experience is cool, but not required
  • Ability to be on your feet and lift 25+ lbs (pizza dough isn’t light!)
  • Weekend + night availability
  • Team-first mindset and solid communication
  • Food safety know-how is a plus
