Job description

Your tasks

  • Build an effective manufacturing team including recruiting, training, developing and conducting performance reviews.
  • Plan budgets, monitor results, formulate forecasts when required for the area.
  • Establish and implement manufacturing targets, monitor and support individuals and the team in the achievement of targets and objectives. Ensure corrective actions are taken when necessary.
  • Working with Customer Teams, support the effective introduction of technical changes and new production lines.
  • Liaise with customers as required.
  • Ensure that the manufacturing area adheres to all Brose processes and procedures.
  • Ensure area complies with health and safety and environmental procedures and be pro-active in the development of a safe working environment.
  • Other duties assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
  • Document and track corrective actions with personnel as required.
  • Work with customer teams as required to support new launches, technical handovers, financial handovers and new equipment installation.
  • Develop a continuous improvement mindset within the team that encourages cost savings, process improvements, quality improvement, etc.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Production Management
  • 6-8 years of professional experience
  • Specialized Knowledge: Project Management, Automotive manufacturing processes, Quality Management, Comprehensive knowledge of production planning and production control, Leadership and Team building, Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • 3 - 5 years of managerial experience
